Education

THRC is affiliated to the University of Tübingen, officially the Eberhard Karl University of Tübingen (EKUT), which offers the Graduate Training Center of Neuroscience (GTC).

The Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience (GTC) operates international neuroscience degree programs which offer a comprehensive theoretical and practical training in a wide range of neuroscience topics under the guidance of leading neuroscientists. In addition to three Master's programs the GTC runs a doctoral program with advanced neuroscience and supplementary skills training. The GTC hosts the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) of the Max-Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, creating a lively and inspiring community for Neuroscience PhD students in Tübingen.

The GTC provides students with state-of-the-art neuroscience training and, at the same time, ensures a steady supply of well-trained students to meet the increasing demand for young researchers in the local laboratories.

For more information about GTC, please visit the page Graduate Training Center of Neuroscience (GTC) Teaching at the GTC is entirely in English.

Also, members of the THRC are all committed to training at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

We have the lead for the lecture series “Humanbiologie 4”.

We are participating to the courses:
- Practical courses Medizintechnik
- Neurosensory center (ZfN)
- Research Lab Course Neurobiology (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences).
